FAQs
Who are we?

We all (age managers, parents and committee members) typically have children who belong to ILAC and we all volunteer every Saturday to run carnivals/meets from 12:30pm to about 4pm or 4:30pm depending on the day. Please don’t make the mistake that we all have high performing children who go on to state and national titles. Typically, we have children who run, throw and jump in summer as their chosen sport. There is no prerequisite for ability, just enjoyment!

What happens each meet?

We meet each week (weather permitting) and compete the events for the weeks program. We run a “Two Week” program for Tiny Tots all the way up to U17 Age Groups. This program and other important information will be communicated weekly via our Facebook Page, make sure you Follow us! Children are broken into their age groups and stay with their age manager for the duration of their events. Age managers are volunteers who turn up every week to volunteer their valuable time to ensure our children not only know what event they should be at but also teach them basic techniques if someone is struggling. Age managers will need parent helpers at each of the field events, so be prepared to roll up your sleeves and help out, this will ensure the events run smoothly and efficiently.

Who do I contact?

You can contact ILAC through the email at the bottom of this website. Alternatively, at every meet, you will see most committee members doing something on the day. They are all approachable and so are our age managers so any question can be answered.

How do I keep up with whats happening?

Our program and other important information will be communicated weekly via our Facebook Page. Photos from each week will be shared via Facebook and Instagram, make sure you Follow us! For larger updates and information such as representational opportunities, we will communicate via email. Please ensure you check your junk mail and add us to your allowed senders list.
